Seattle-area
native Bruce Hudson and
his late wife Sue started Hudson's Designer Portraits in 1982.
Bruce, a former high school band director, and Sue, an administrative
assistant, took a wonderful hobby and turned it into a profession.
Today Hudson's Designer Portraits is considered to be one of the
top portrait/wedding studios in the country. Bruce's local, national
and international awards are numerous. He holds the degree of
master/craftsman with the Professional Photographers of America,
and is one of only forty active members of the prestigious Cameracraftsmen
of America.
Bruce has lectured to professional photographers associations
in nearly all fifty states, Canada, Puerto Rico and New Zealand
for Fuji, Mamiya Cameras, H&H Color Lab, and Capri Albums.
His portrait and wedding assignments have taken him from Tokyo
to Scottsdale, Hawaii to Kansas City. The studio is located in
Renton, Washington and has been recognized in the community, through
awards, as a business of excellence!

One of the unique features at Hudson's is their one-acre portrait park that is like a mini "Universal Studios" for portrait sessions. In addition, Bruce is known for personalizing your session by going on-location. May it be the beach, the mountains, a park or your home, it is his goal to create images that are customized to his clients' desires!
